On My Toes

my poor blog. i didn't mean to neglect you.. huhuhu.. 

ehemmm.. it has been a busy and chaotic weeks, like always. preparing hantarans for an engagement ceremony and a wedding.. juggling my kids during the school break.. hamper materials hunting and countless petty but tedious tasks i had to attend to. i even had to hold my routine yoga classes because i needed a day to breathe. unfortunately my kids weren't getting an exciting holiday like they wished for. i had to drag them around when i go for meetings and stock purchasing. but of course with a price la x__x. 

anyways.. my hubby will compensate all that with our trip to Singapore end of this month. but, errr.. i feel guilty for not feeling excited about it. well.. it's just that the holiday's mood had ended, the kids are busy again with their classes and above of all... all i can think of right now is completing my hampers deco and of course the promoting strategy after that. i really feel bad about it especially he's gonna take a day leave tomorrow just to spend time with me and planning a wonderful trip together to Singapore v_v.

the bright side is, my sister had successfully baked a few cookies sample in her lab (lab la sangat. fefeling DC Cupcakes lak ;P) i really hope she can coup-up with the orders. as for my hampers this year, i'm so optimist to step up a notch. i invested a lot for new accessories and new stuff. i hope it'll worth every penny. will publish them very soon n_n

Slipping Some Leisure In Biz

my friend organized a Secretary Week Event in Holiday Villa Subang last month. she's been ordering my door gifts and gift baskets every time she threw out an event. so it's hard to turn down her request this time n_n. 

this is the first time i ever featured my crafts outdoor. i shared the booth with a friend promoting our Shape Plus and Eve Collagen. since my sis Niza has found a new love in baking, i incorporated her delicious cupcakes into my hamper designs. the outcome was wonderful! i should've thought of this before ;P

all in all, it was ok. i was elated to see my ex-schoolmates. really envy to see how stunning mommas they are now.

i was very grateful that my hubby was generous enough to grant me a room in the hotel. my goodness.. i seldom wear high heels due to my leisure business conduct ;P. as you know, handling a booth requires you to stand most of the time. half-way the event my feet already cried out for a massage ;D. and at the end of the day i almost crawl to my room.  can't imagine if i were to drive home in my manual geared car. walking on my bare foot still an agony after that. but a quick dip in the hot tub eased the pain a lot! aaahhhhh...

the room looked old but very spacious. just a 21 inch TV and very minimum decoration. but the king bed was very cozy. i didn't care at all, i just needed a good rest that night. the next day i took the kids to the pool. ohhh i was so frustrated for not being able to plunge in due to my period. the pools really fitted us well! a long lap (supposedly for me ;P), a wadding pool for Arianna, a 5feet one just nice for Arisya and a jacuzzi. another regret was that i forgot to bring my sneakers. the gym has a wide spread of equipment. i bit my lips to control myself as we passed by the gym on the way to the pool.

Packed And Hectic March..

oh dear.. oh dear.. i desperately need a good spa treatment! it has been a busy new year for me. not that i complain.. busy is good ^__~. this march is a challenging and tiring month for me. i received a project from a friend that really challenged my physical and wit. being a 'one man show' biz runner, i have to do everything myself. super duper multitasking! and to add extra challenge, my cousin was getting married and needed me to do the hantaran (dowry) decorations and help to manage the reception ceremony.

my poor children weren't getting the school break they expected. unfortunately i had to drag them along when i go supply hunting, delivering goods and biz appointments. i hate to leave them with my folks even though they like it because i don't want to trouble my mum. at least when they're with me, i wouldn't worry about what they're up to out of my radar. hehehe..

as i was saying.. i was up to my neck in my 'works in progress'. a week before my cousin's wedding i accepted a huge order. 400 sejadahs (prayer mat) to be packed for charity. they liked them so much that they re-ordered 150 more and a few VIP gift baskets. i'm allergic to dust, lint and certain fabric. it was a challenge to fold and tied the sejadah with ribbon. luckily my mom helped a bit. i finished the order a week after the wedding. it was a huge relieve...temporarily. because shortly i had to create a few gift baskets for the Secretary Week Event. well that... will be a different story in my next post ^_~.
